Kez Rugs canvas horse rugs are manufactured from rugged tear-stop 14oz canvas which is durable, long lasting, waterproof and UV resistant.
A feature of our rugs is that they are unlined. We believe this provides more versatility for variable weather conditions. Our canvas rug can be used in summer to protect your horse from heavy rains, especially in the northern wet season, keeping your horse dry without over-heating. Leading up to winter the one canvas rug is all that is required and in mid winter under rugs can be used for additional warmth.
We ourselves put a canvas rug over the summer weave rug (or combo) at night and this is more than sufficient for most horses in Queensland. Show horses may require a kersey rug underneath instead of the summer weave.
